General
What is PECOWorld?
PECOWorld is a people-powered platform that brings together Partners, Entrepreneurs and Citizens to connect, exchange opportunities, build trusted relationships and collaborate for measurable social, environmental and economic impact.
Who can join PECOWorld?
Anyone who wants to contribute, collaborate, learn or support meaningful change can join: individuals, businesses, nonprofits, academic institutions, government agencies and community groups.
Is PECOWorld free to join?
Basic membership is free. Some specialised services, events, programmes or premium features may require separate registration or payment.
Manifesto and Journey
What is the PECOWorld Manifesto?
The Manifesto explains the principles that guide behaviour across PECOWorld: collaboration, reciprocity, shared ownership, trust and accountability.
Do members agree to the Manifesto?
Members are encouraged to uphold the Manifesto principles when participating in PECOWorld spaces, exchanges, events and collaborations.
What is the PECO Journey?
The PECO Journey is the recommended pathway that helps members move from discovering their role to creating meaningful impact through collaboration.
Do I have to follow the journey in a fixed order?
No. You can explore PECOWorld in any order. The journey simply gives you a pathway: Persona, 3C Passport, Events, GOTO Exchange, PECOPeople, PECONets, PECOCircles and PECOPulse.
Can my journey change over time?
Yes. As your interests, experience and goals evolve, your Persona, 3Cs, networks, circles and collaborations can evolve with you.
Persona
Why do I need to choose a Persona?
Your Persona tells others how you primarily contribute in the ecosystem. It helps members understand your perspective and enables more relevant connections.
What are the three Personas?
Partner enables collaboration through resources, funding, expertise, networks or institutional support. Entrepreneur creates solutions, products, services, ventures or innovations. Citizen contributes through participation, advocacy, lived experience, community trust and action.
Can I have more than one Persona?
Yes. You may identify with multiple roles, although selecting a primary Persona improves recommendations and matching.
3C Passport
What is the 3C Passport?
Your 3C Passport captures your Cause, Community and Coverage: the issues you care about, the people or groups you want to support, and the geography or scale where you wish to contribute.
Why should I complete my 3C Passport?
A complete Passport improves matching across GOTO Exchange, PECOPeople, PECONets and PECOCircles.
Can I update my 3Cs later?
Yes. Your Cause, Community and Coverage can change as your interests and areas of contribution evolve.
Events
What kinds of events are listed?
Events may be FEST experiences, FORUM exchanges or TOURS explorations. They can be online, offline or hybrid, and may be connected to a PECONet, PECOCircle or platform programme.
Do I need to be a member to attend events?
Some events are public while others are exclusive to members or invited participants.
Can events be created by members?
Yes. Admins, PECONet hosts and PECOCircle anchors can publish directly. Other members can create events, but those events go for admin approval before becoming live.
What are GOTO events?
GOTO events are live exchange sessions that help members build direct connections beyond the portal, share Give and Take offers, and understand different parts of PECOWorld.
PECOPeople
What is PECOPeople?
PECOPeople helps you discover members based on Persona, Cause, Community, Coverage, skills and interests.
Can I control what others see?
Yes. You decide which contact details are visible. Members can send connection requests, and contact information is shared according to your visibility and connection settings.
Can I contact anyone?
You can send connection requests. Members choose whether to accept them.
GOTO Exchange
What is GOTO Exchange?
GOTO Exchange is where members post what they can Give or what they are looking to Take, making collaboration easier through reciprocal exchange.
What can I post?
You can post skills, mentoring, funding, volunteers, jobs, partnerships, resources, equipment, space, advice, training, market access or other clear contributions and needs.
Who decides who connects?
The person who created the post reviews expressions of interest and chooses who to connect with. The PECO team can support facilitation where needed.
PECONets and PECOCircles
What is a PECONet?
PECONets are learning communities centred around shared causes, interests, communities, industries or locations.
What happens inside a PECONet?
Members can share knowledge, join discussions, attend learning sessions, exchange ideas, build relationships and discover collaboration opportunities.
Are PECONets action groups?
No. PECONets focus on learning and relationship-building. Members often progress into PECOCircles for collaborative action.
PECOCircles
What is a PECOCircle?
A PECOCircle is a trusted collaboration space where members work together on shared goals, initiatives and solutions.
Who can create a PECOCircle?
Any eligible member can propose a Circle around a shared Cause, Community or Coverage area. Review may be required before it becomes live.
How is a Circle different from a PECONet?
PECONets learn together. PECOCircles work together.
How are Circles managed?
Each Circle has facilitators, members, shared goals, agreed responsibilities and transparent progress tracking.
PECOPulse and Resources
What is PECOPulse?
PECOPulse is the activity stream of the PECO ecosystem. It can show featured PECONets, active PECOCircles, GOTO opportunities, events, resources, member stories and ecosystem updates.
What will I find in Resources?
Resources can include toolkits, guides, templates, research, publications, case studies, videos and learning material.
Can members contribute?
Yes. Members can share updates, stories, reflections, achievements and resources where contribution options are enabled. Submitted material may be reviewed before publication.

Your name, Persona, bio and 3C signals help others understand your work. You can control visibility for personal contact details such as email, phone, LinkedIn and profile photo.
